Maintains and communicates product information needed for the resale and distribution of vehicle repair products. The position will also be required to maintain competency in the automotive aftermarket data standards. In this role, you will have direct responsibility to maintain and build a catalog of product specific data to power our websites and external systems.
Utilize strong automotive and aftermarket knowledge to optimize catalog and data governance
Be the internal owner and authority on all product attributes and data points including ACES/PIES fitment data, product descriptions, images, catalog classifications, and individual product attributes.
Coordinate and leverage network of external suppliers to produce high quantities of product data points and descriptions within the required specifications and levels of quality and accuracy.
Evaluation, management, and analysis of OE information and research.
Data management and maintenance of all vehicle part coverage.
Management and mastery of multiple product line data.
Identify catalog process improvements. Implement changes as necessary.
Data content contact with suppliers, agencies, industry associations and customers.
Maintain competitive and OEM interchanges.
Conduct OEM research, maintain internal database and communicate coverage goals and opportunities to product management
Ensure 100% accuracy of product data and fitments
Develop and execute processes to advance the continual improvement and accuracy of product fitment data and attributes
Product image maintenance and maintaining and updating PIES as required.
BA/BS in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Auto Care Industry. WD Operations, Content Management or catalog management experience preferred.
Ability to comprehend, organize and analyze large amounts of data with the ability to extract key information
Ability to work under pressure, meeting multiple project deadlines is required
Previous experience in the Automotive Aftermarket is preferred, particularly in the area of automotive parts, catalog or data management
Working knowledge and understanding of Automotive Aftermarket best practices and standards (PIES, ACES and GS1).
Microsoft Office proficiency. Advanced Excel skills a must.
