We have an outstanding opportunity for a national Strategic Account Manager to join our sales team. In this role you will be responsible for incremental sales growth and profitability for the complete Bosch Automotive Services Product portfolio including Diagnostics, Special Tools, Equipment, and Air Conditioning within assigned Strategic Account(s). These strategic objectives must be maintained to align with sales, profit, growth, and customer satisfaction objectives set by Bosch Automotive Services, in an effort to maintain Bosch’s strong position as a leader in North American Aftermarket.
Position open to applicants that reside within central Lakeland, Florida area or areas of Detroit, Michigan or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and have the ability to work remotely.
Your responsibilities would include, but not limited to:
Develop in-depth knowledge of identified Customer accounts; know needs and concerns intimately.
Gather and analyze information to understand marketing opportunities, product/promotional needs or potential program opportunities.
Create and present profitable and focused selling or program solutions to meet each customer’s requirements.
Develop and maintain Customer Scorecard per defined requirements aligning with customer defined KPIs and Bosch focus areas leading to increased customer satisfaction.
Negotiate acceptable terms: pricing, packaging, quantity, delivery, installation, training and other conditions of sale.
Make regular sales calls on buyers, category managers and/or key decision-makers to discover future opportunities, problems, market trends, competitive information and new product ideas.
Participate in key customer events, trade shows and business meetings.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering preferred. Relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Minimum 5 years professional selling experience, preferably at the headquarter level with knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industry is required.
Experience and knowledge of the Warehouse Distribution channel and overall Tools & Equipment market strongly preferred.
Experience with diagnostics and AC a preferred.
Scan Tool knowledge is a preferred.
ASE Certification preferred.
Must have strong project management experience with demonstrated analytical skills in developing strategies and resolving problems.
Must have financial management skills in a high volume environment to successfully impact forecasting, sales and profit margins.
Must be proficient computer skills in MS Office: Word, Excel and Power Point.
Ability to travel up to 70% domestically.
Desired candidate must reside within central Lakeland, Florida area or areas of Detroit, Michigan or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and have the ability to work remotely.
Must be eligible to work in the US without VISA sponsorship.
