Position Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for sourcing and establishing new accounts, as well as building and maintaining existing account relationships while meeting defined performance goals. This position interfaces with customers and prospects and may travel extensively in support of corporate sales growth initiatives to match and exceed corporate growth targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Sources and develops customer relationships via travel, telephone and virtual interface.
Assists distributors to identify appropriate product mix to best serve their client needs.
Conducts product training seminars to increase product knowledge and brand.
Represents aFe at regional and/or national car/truck and trade shows to promote the aFe Power product offerings and build brand awareness.
Builds and promotes customer base at wholesale and retail levels.
Meets defined and established sales goals, while identifying new business opportunities.
Works with aFe Marketing Team to implement targeted marketing plans designed for regional success.
Provides weekly status reports to management outlining customer issues, potential business opportunities, and market trends impacting aFe product offerings and business development.
Works closely with customers on any aFe product issue from trade shows, inventory, product training, display or shipping issues, providing excellent communication and timely response with strategic solutions.
Responsible for placement of all new product with existing customers, as well as new customers.

Must be organized, detail-oriented, driven to succeed, patient, and possess a positive attitude.
Excellent understanding of professionalism, as a high-profile representative of aFe Power and its brand.
Superior communication skills including verbal, written, as well as via virtual media.
Excellent at building and maintaining customer relationships
Ability to draft, understand and follow verbal and written instructions, presentations
Ability to handle high volume of tasks and prioritize accordingly.
Above average computer skills and familiarity with and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), including average to above average typing skills.
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to travel up to 40% of assigned schedule.
Automotive acumen and enthusiast mindset, highly preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
A.A. Degree with business related emphasis and one – three (1-3) years’ experience in a sales role for automotive aftermarket or related manufacturing organization, or combination of relevant education and experience.
