The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
Daily Sales Contact with Current Accounts and Prospects (Key Factor)
Builds and maintains customer relationships (Key Factor)
Works with outside Rep Agency Sales Representatives to keep account activities and customer files up to date
Prospects for new Aftermarket business while maintaining current customer business base
Price Quotations to existing customers based on established price levels and formulas for accounts.
Extensive verbal and written correspondence with customers.
Product Line Development with customers.
Awareness of customer credit status in help in monitoring payment history
Emphasize salable features, prepare sales forecasts and communicate to AWA internal personnel
Prepare and Maintain reports regularly used in department
Must be able to travel without limitations
Attend and Support product expositions, booth preparations, trade shows, Clinics, field product launches, etc.
Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Work Environment Requirements:
Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone and other office equipment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Oracle experience helpful / preferred
Must perform job duties, by their nature performed offsite (for example, offsite customer visits, trade shows, training clinics / seminars, etc.) except those duties that are customarily onsite.
Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment where constructive criticism is encouraged.
Must be a self-starter – work independently – ethical – quick thinker
Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and budget (if applicable) with satisfactory quality.
Must be able to operate as an effective team member.
Must be committed to a high standard of safety, and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies.
Required Skills and Abilities:

2+ years prior experience helpful
Requires good organizational skills and be able to multi-task

High School Diploma / Some College / Degree
Two plus years Automotive Aftermarket Experience preferred.
Attendance/Work Hour Requirements:
Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
Must be willing and available to work 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week, plus other hours per day, or week, and weekends or holidays as necessary, as desirable to meet business needs when traveling for business

Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
