Hemmings is seeking a highly motivated business development and sales professional to lead the expansion of our dealer marketplace programs. Ideal candidates will have existing relationships and experience working with, or for, collector car dealers. If you are looking to join an established, growing brand and lead the continued development of significant revenues, this is the role for you.
A successful individual in this role will raise brand awareness amongst collector car dealers, and clearly communicate Hemmings dealer product offerings; ultimately driving new partnerships and incremental revenue generation. The dealers business development executive must help shape the product offering as well as pricing, execute new sales, coordinate dealer utilization and success and ensure customer retention.
The Hemmings marketplace is a modern and robust vehicle sales platform utilizing multiple selling methods: print classifieds, digital classifieds, and live-online auctions. Hemmings.com drives more than 33-million unique visitors from across the globe to its marketplaces annually and hosts over 450 existing dealer partnerships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setting goals and developing plans for dealer business development and revenue growth
- Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
- Aiding in the continued improvement and refinement of the Hemmings dealer product offering
- Working cross functionally with other marketplace managers within Hemmings to ensure dealer participation
- Researching prospective accounts in target markets and acquiring new dealer partnerships
- Ensuring dealer satisfaction
- Managing and hiring of dealer success associate role
Working Conditions: General office environment. Extensive computer use required. Some travel required. Ability to work flexible work schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays, and overtime, as needed. Occasional attendance at Hemmings sponsored events.

Experience: Four years working in the collector vehicle industry, preferably with or for dealers. Sales and business development experience required.
Specific Skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce entry experience highly valuable.
