JOB SUMMARY

Location: Irvine, CA

The Marketing & Social Media Intern will be a paid, hybrid summer position assisting with day-to-day marketing and social media efforts. Ideal candidates should have coursework or prior work experience in marketing (including social media) and be interested in the outdoor enthusiast industry. This position will interface across multiple departments in the company, including: sales, creative, and product development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Social media: Monitor all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) and assist with daily posting, follower engagement, and giveaways. Track and plan content via content calendar.
• Content Creation: Brainstorm and create new content across social media platforms, in line with the company’s marketing goals.
• Digital & email marketing: Assist with digital and social media advertising, as assigned. Contribute to email marketing campaigns in Mailchimp.
• Sponsorships: Assist with the company’s product sponsorship program, including vehicle sponsorships, show sponsorships, and social media influencer sponsorships.
• Trade Shows and Events: Assist with planning and attending trade shows and events by identifying and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, etc.
• Copywriting and blog: Write copy and content for marketing materials, including blog posts.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Knowledge various social media platforms.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Interest in Automotive, RV, outdoor enthusiast, and/or bike industries preferred.
• Must demonstrate good organizational skills, be an assertive team player with problem solving skills, possess a positive Can-Do attitude, be self-motivated and have strong work ethics.
• In 3rd or 4th year of college program preferred, or recent college graduate.
• This is a hybrid or full-time on-site position, full-time preferred (Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm). Part-time candidates (minimum 20 hours/week) may be considered. You must be able to come into our Irvine offices at least 2x a week.
