The Associate Catalog Manager will be responsible for the creation and maintenance, as well as the accuracy of catalog data. This role involves coordinating with various teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date product listings, maintaining product data quality, and enhancing the overall customer experience. The Associate Catalog Manager will assist the Catalog Manager in executing catalog-related strategies and initiatives.
Essential Duties and Key Behaviors:
Utilize data from various sources to establish the PowerStop catalog, encompassing Brake Pads, Brake Rotors, and other product categories. This includes data from OEMs, dealer research, and more.
Work closely with the Catalog Manager to optimize product categorization and taxonomy for a user-friendly experience.
Implement search engine optimization best practices to improve product discoverability and search ranking.
Conduct research on new models following a predefined sequence.
Regularly audit and review product data to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and missing information
Monitor data quality, ensuring that product information complies with industry standards and company guidelines.
Maintain communication with the Product Manager responsible for specific cataloged categories.
Generate and analyze catalog performance reports, including sales and customer feedback.
Assist with the distribution of data within PowerStop, as well as to our data receivers and vendors.
Reconcile active products compared to output XML’s to verify all active parts are covered prior to distribution.
Address customer inquiries and concerns related to product listings and catalog information.

4-year degree or 3 years of Automotive Cataloging experience with ACES/PIES certificate or ACP accreditation
Prior automotive data experience (ACES and PIES), is required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (vlookup, data manipulation, etc)
Possess strong attention to detail, and ability to interpret and quantify large sets of automotive data.
Prior experience using Pricedex PIM systems, a plus.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal relationship skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Automotive industry experience or a passion for automobiles, a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis.
Ability to work extended and flexible hours to meet deadlines.
