JOB SUMMARY:
Remote position that manages relationship between company and major account customer to help promote and sell products and services that maximize value for assigned territory. Works to increase sales and market share with customer. May also assist in developing sales strategies and establishing quotas. Keeps National Sales Manager informed of all aspects of customer opportunities and expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish effective communication and build successful relationships with Division, Distribution Center, and Store management and sales teams.
Implement and direct a field sales plan within the assigned sales region to achieve sales goals.
Build up detailed knowledge about the company’s products.
Travel consistently throughout assigned sales region to make field contacts and provide proactive product training, assistance, and support.
Contact and visit customer’s warehouses, stores, and affiliated locations as necessary to meet their service requirements and educate them to better understand company products and services.
Hold and participate in product training classes.
Conduct PowerPoint presentations for sales meetings.
Plan for, arrange, and attend trade shows.
Train and motivate customer’s sales personnel to increase sales in their market.
Implement sales programs and ensure awareness at all levels of customer’s management.
Meet customer needs, offer options, resolve problems, and provide follow-up.
Work with the customers’ information system to analyze data and prepare monthly reporting as required by customer and AIT.
Report monthly to National Sales Manager on activities and opportunities in assigned sales region.
Coordinate interdepartmental teams to complete tasks/projects.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years equivalent experience
3-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Automotive Aftermarket experience a plus
Able and willing to travel up to 50% of the time as directed by management and/or business needs.
